Sweet and Sour Shrimp – HCG Diet system

• 100 g small shrimp •

1 fennel bulb, diced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 2 tablespoons onion, chopped

• 2 tablespoons lemon juice

• 1 tablespoon tomato paste

• 1/2 tomato, chopped

• 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth

• 1/2 teaspoon thyme

• 1/2 teaspoon oregano

• Salt & pepper, to taste

Method

Add the shrimp, fennel, garlic, onion, and lemon juice in a non-stick sauté pan until the shrimp is cooked. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer on low until heated through. Counts as: 1 protein serving, 1 vegetable serving
